Nothing Says NZ Is A Hermit Nation Run By Muppets More Than This

For those of us who have lived overseas during Covid-19 I cannot explain how stupid this is that New Zealand didn't months ago have this ready to rock.

However, the public will have to wait until December 15 before they can pick them up at pharmacies. They’ll also have to take the test under the supervision of pharmacy staff.

Pricing has not yet been decide, but across the ditch in Australia, you can pick up a kit from the pharmacy or supermarket for anywhere between $10 and $20 per test.

Even worse is not only will you have to pay when New Zealanders aren't used to paying for anything to do with Covid, but you then can not take them home for use. The control freaks in this regime are going to make you do the test at the pharmacy.

What is the bloody point?

Avoid this latest power grab over your lives as long as possible. Civil disobedience should extend to all unnecessary testing for Covid.  Do not do it unless you are actually unwell with symptoms and the symptoms are bothering you.

Because we would not possibly want people to be able to test themselves and self isolate and not tell anyone would we?  No, big song and dance required, monitoring, tagging and more limitations.

Allowing you to take the test home may just give you all far too much personal responsibility for your own lives.

Oh dear.

I hazard a guess, buckle up.  You are not getting your freedoms back anytime soon from this mob of lockdown loons.

  1. LOL under pharmacy supervision... wtf for? Oh we know what for, because some naughty Nigel might test himself positive and not go into government mandated detention. So what does Nige do instead? Of course, if he gets a symptom he does his best to hide it.

I've got about 30 tests sitting at home, bought in bulk from Office Depot, to test the family if they get a sniffle. Not turned up a positive yet, but if they do you know to go get the proper test immediately and lock the beggars in their rooms.

But then again, NZ is retarded enough to not have figured out how to have people convalesce at home. And they've only just introduced the vaccine certificate which is a just clone of the EU one which we've had for MONTHS. But being NZ they have TWO certificates, one the EU clone useful for travel and the other some domestic thing... WTF for??? But never mind because Cindy changes how you can use the certificates every other day. And now even us double vaxxed offshore kiwis will STILL have to do 7 days isolation if we want to enter the hermit kingdom. But don't worry, you've got your traffic lights that will never go green LMFAO. Lunatics running the asylum and the inmates have no f-ing clue.

    1. I wouldn't worry too much about the 7 day self isolation, just identify as a patched gang member for the week, then you can do what the f* you like!

  2. I was asked to take a test before seeing a doctor at the hospital. I said no to the PCR test. I am totally healthy and zero symptoms. I explained that the PCR test is run at 40 cycle threshold in NZ as was revealed in an OIA. This ct makes the PCR test very unreliable. I also said I didn't like the idea of a swab being stuck 15cm up my nose. I was offered a rapid antigen test. I asked how accurate the results are. The nurse told me around 50%. So I run the risk of being locked up on the toss of a coin??? Fuck that.

    1. The golden rule - no test unless you absolutely have to.

No point spending days in isolation for no reason.

  3. Did a google search on Office Depot and rapid antigen test kit and came up with a Swedish site (NZ$6 / kit), then accidentally closed the tab, did the search again, and it is gone from the search results..

  4. I have been an asthmatic for 40 years - In NZ I require a script from a Doctor to purchase a Ventolin inhaler from a pharmacy - Ridiculous
in Australia I can buy it over the counter in a pharmacy - no script necessary.

    1. Because they treat you like adults. The removal of standard medications from OTC services at pharmacies by the health system is insane. The second some idiot attempts to overdose/resell/make other drugs on anything there are calls to ban it. Now right down to Panadol.

  5. Verrall thinks we can't read instructions and we need medical training to understand the concept of a false negative. She basically thinks we're stupid.
