For those of us outside of New Zealand with their drivers licenses expiring this year, a dilemma has arose.  We could not get back to New Zealand, thanks to the ridiculous border policy, to get the renewal.   There is however a facility online to extend your license a year. Perfect.   The valid NZ license runs to any international license so needs to be kept up to date. You can’t renew or upgrade your driver licence from overseas. But you can replace your driver licence if it has been lost, misplaced or stolen. You can also get a replacement driver licence from overseas if your licence is due to expire, or has been expired for less than 12 months, and you want to extend the expiry date. You can apply to extend the expiry date for 12 months from the original expiry date. This can only be done once: after that, you have to renew your licence in person. So after completing the necessary formalities and COURIERING the originals back (why as you have all the details from the last license?),

If Only The NZ Public Knew How Fake Robbo's Cash Was

He realised that wasn’t the case when he caught his first two notes and spotted they were fake. Instead of legal tender, the “cash” gives the bearer 30 per cent off orders from The Safety Warehouse, which sells PPE online. Lynch said he’s now stranded in Auckland with no money to get back home. He was also hurt in the crush of the crowd, he said. “I was stomped on, when they were throwing the money I had a whole pile of people on top of me.” So a man spent $120 certain that he was going to trample and stomp all over thousands of others to get more than $240 back so he could then drive back to Palmerston North.  Right.......  With logic like that he should immediately be promoted to senior analyst at Adrian Orr's Reserve Bank or Comms director in Grant Robertson's office.  At least The Safety Warehouse giveaway did not dilute purchasing power or i
